I've moved around a lot and one thing that I've discovered in my search for home is that regardless of what changes, you're still you. What I mean is that, if you feel like a freak wherever you find yourself now, you'll feel like a freak wherever you go.
And I don't think that's a bad thing, but what if you could escape to a place where everyone feels like a freak?
That's what I was thinking to myself when I met Mudge and, as it turns out, Mudge was thinking the same thing. We put our heads together and an idea was born.
Weird City: a future place where every person's trash is always another's treasure, where the rivers run full of coffee and glitter, where everyone fits but no one fits at the same time and that's how we like it.
"We'll have to find it," I said.
"We'll have to build it," Mudge replied.
We both sighed and rolled our eyes. Time to get to work.
